On the day of your 6+ hour climb of Ireland’s highest mountain, a highly experience and qualified mountain from Kerry Climbing will share with you the history and geology as well as lots of entertaining and interesting tails. Assistance, guidance and encouragement will be given to you throughout your climb.
Any ascent of Ireland’s highest mountain is a tough challenge and requires a good level of fitness. However if you would prefer us to organise a less challenging hike, please let us know – price subject to change.

For the golfer who is seeking a beautiful and tranquil environment to enjoy great Golf, Dooks presents a convincing case. Dooks is not as exposed as some Irish courses and features an amazing variety of gorse, heather and wild flowers, the “gentle” wind is never far away and the narrow genuine sandy fairways and well contoured greens offer you a real taste of traditional links golf at its very best.

Angling on Caragh Lake

This package includes 2 night stay for two people sharing, breakfast each morning of your stay and guided day of trout or salmon fishing on Caragh Lake.
Please note
**A permit is required for Salmon fishing, this can be arranged by the hotel should you require it at an additional cost of €20.00 – please let us know on reserving the package should you require this**
On the day of your fishing trip, your experienced fishing ghillie Mike O Shea will meet you at Caragh Lake at 9.30am located just a few kilometers from the hotel, Mike will then take you on his boat onto the lake to fish for the day – rods, equipment and life jacket are provided, just bring you own rain-gear.

On the morning of your cycle, our partner KCG Rental will drop your bike to the hotel. Horse Riding on Rossbeigh Beach

This package includes 2 night stay for two people with breakfast each morning of your stay and 2 hrs guided trek on horseback on Rossbeigh Beach.
On the morning or afternoon of your Trek, you meet our partner Burkes Beach Riding in their yard just a few minutes drive from our hotel and head for Curra Mountain taking in the world renowned Horseshoe Valley. Afterwards, travel down to Rossbeigh beach with spectacular views of the Dingle Peninsula and Castlemaine Harbour The second hour of the trek is spent on Rossbeigh beach. Riders will walk, trot and canter depending on individual rider’s experience with beautiful Rossbeigh beach provides us with miles of sandy beach to canter along.
