Glenbeigh Fairy Forest Walk

The fairy’s have made a home for themselves in Glenbeigh and we are so glad they did! The Fairy Walk is a magical walk for kids of all ages – where you can let your imagination go wild. This gentle walk is ideal for families or big kids at heart.

Take the road from Glenbeigh Village along the R564 Rossbeigh road to the Picnic Area at Faha Wood. At the Picnic area follow the path leading upwards into Faha Wood. and turn left for the Fairy Forest, enjoy the fairy trees, toadstools and colourful stones along the walk.

Sometimes, you must bevery quiet to hear the fairies among the trees, look up and you might just see one passing over your head! Most importantly everyone must be very gentle around the houses – it’s taken the fairies a long time to build them so please respect their hard work

At the end of the fairy trail, you can return the same way you came or follow the path and turn left at the end of the forest which will bring you back to Behy Bridge.
